Original cloth boards in dust-wrapper with has a few nicks and chips at the upper edge. The story of pioneer graziers James and Elizabeth Badgery who emigrated from Devon to Hawkesbury, NSW, in 1799. With the opening of the inland country in the 1820s Badgery extended his cattle and horse breeding operations to the Southern Highlands. The family later operated as far out as western Queensland and in the commercial world of Sydney's stock dealers.
