The text is illustrated with two inserts, of 16 pages each, of black-and-white photographs or illustrations. 1/4 red coloured cloth backstrip with gilt titles. 3/4 light purple coloured boards with gilt facsimile signature of Lady Morrell to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel. A little bumping to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. A small faded area to the top right-hand corner of the front panel. Light age tonining of the text block edges. Photographic dustwrapper, showing Ottoline Morrell, with red and orange titles to the front panel and pink and white titles to the backstrip. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the top backstrip edge, in fact the top dustwrapper edge in its entirety. There is a 1.5 " tear to the top right-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel. Some rubbing and creasing to the lower dustwrapper edges with a couple of small close to tears. Rubbing to the dustwrapper panels and some scoring of the laminate as well. Slight fading of the backstrip edge. A biography of one of the most important members of the Bloomsbury English literary set of the early 20th century: -- Lady Ottoline Morrell.
