London: Odhams Press Ltd, 1949. 1.95 kg; one volume printed in four, XVI, 430,[2], VI, 431-808, VI, 8091154, VIII, 1155-1472 pages, with index, maps and illustrations. All four volumes are dusty on the top edge, slightly darkened on the front edge, with traces of foxing, with clean rights binding underneath dust jacket that slightly faded on the back strip section. The previous owner has made Inc notations on the last two pages of volume IV, highlighted page 1372, and indulged in a little bit of marginalia in the final volume. Volume III has pink and pencil notations on the rear end page, and volume 1 has Inc notations on the rear end page. All four dust jackets show tape marks from the protective plastic (now removed) that is in part responsible for the books good condition. A digital image can be provided to help assess the condition of these books.
