LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:

Westminister, Maryland, U.S.A.: Alfred a Knopf Inc, 1984. 1.0 kg; VIII, 456 pages, text illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs, some full-page. The original illustrated dust jacket, faded on the backstrip section, with a 0.75 inch tear at the lower edge of the rear panel, and with a stain from a price sticker at the same point. The front panel has a 2.0 inch tear on the bottom right-hand corner and staining from tape that was used to attempt a repair. Previous owner's name and business stamp at the top of the front end pages. The dust jacket does not show a price, and there is a small blind stamped colophon at the lower right-hand corner of the rear board, which I believe means this is a book club book. Traces of foxing to the top and front edges of the text block. "Her story reveals, as never before, the heart of The 60s Pop Art World in all its provocative Chic and suicidal energy; its explosive mix of celebrity, art, fashion and drunk; its terrifying annihilation of the past. Through the rounds of voices telling the story, and real life and the real lives surrounding it are presented and understood with a breadth and a passion that suggests a large novel or epic play.". not Indicated. White Cloth Blue Boards. Good/Good -- Faded Spine. Illus. by Photographic. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Biography.
