LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:

Middlesex: Penguin Books, 1973. , VG+/--, 320pp, b/w plates, index. The author's wonderful fictional biography of Horatio Hornblower was first published in 1970 by Michael Joseph, responsible for so many of the "Hornblower" books. This is the first paperback edition, and is a terrific copy with the marvellous formal portrait of Hornblower by Brian Knight on the cover. Minor rubbing and scuffing to edges and corners, some spots on cover which are unobtrusive, inside is far better having light age toning to extremities, else square, clean and tight with no markings, a more than very good copy of a lovely example of a vintage paperback, a must for Hornblower devotees. 320g when packed.. First Thus. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good+. Illus. by Knight, Brian . 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
